Announcing the final stretch goal!: Message from Ogata

All reward courses on the Japanese crowdfunding project held through CAMPFIRE are now out of stock! Thank you very much for your amazing support!

I never thought the project would go this well...and I’m truly grateful.
Thank you all so much!

Now, I would like to announce the final stretch goal!
Because we’ve reached 25 million yen, we will add the following track to the cover album:

“Sakura Nagashi” from Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo

Not only will we have the phenomenal Tomohiro Nakatsuchi in charge of the arrangements…
It has been decided that…

The following six voice actors and actresses will be recording the cover album with me!

Nobuyuki Hiyama will join me for “Taiyou Ga Mata Kagayaku Toki” from Yu Yu Hakusho: Ghost Files (Megumi Ogata feat. Nobuyuki Hiyama).

Also, Masako Katsuki and I will record “Moon Revenge” from Sailor Moon R: The Movie. (Megumi Ogata feat. Masako Katsuki)

For “Bye Bye Yesterday” from Assassination Classroom Second Season, I will be working with TERASAKA-GUMI, which consists of Subaru Kimura, Kouki Harasawa, Yoshiyuki Shimotsuma, and Fuko Saito (Itona Horibe feat. TERASAKA-GUMI).

I never thought I would have the chance to do all this either.
Yes, I said this already, but I really am grateful for everything that has happened.

My team and I aimed to bring joy to my fans in Japan, and also my fans around the world.

In order to make that a reality, we continued to negotiate and are proud to say that we’ve successfully secured the arrangements described above.

I would like to take a moment to express my gratitude and my love towards all the voice actors and actresses who will be joining me on the album, everyone in each management agency, as well as all program producers and staff who did everything they could possibly do to help out.

Thank you very much. You’re all absolutely amazing.

Alright! All that’s left to do is to produce the cover album.
(There are still a few days left in the international crowdfunding project, though!)
I’ll do my very best to create something terrific.

Megumi Ogata
